Security forces successfully dismantle terrorist hideout in Reasi district of Jammu & Kashmir.
A terrorist hideout was unearthed and dismantled in the Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir. The operation resulted in the confiscation of significant incriminating materials, including detonators and rounds for AK assault rifles. The police have initiated a thorough search operation in the area.
The hideout was located in the Dalas Barneli area within the Arnas sub-division during a meticulously executed search and cordon operation. This operation was launched based on credible intelligence regarding the presence of the hideout, as confirmed by a police spokesperson.
Among the items recovered from the hideout were two detonators, 12 rounds of AK assault rifle ammunition, an IED-enabled tape recorder, a calculator, a battery, and several connecting wires.
Reasi’s Senior Superintendent of Police, Mohita Sharma, emphasized that the search operation is still ongoing, and additional information is awaited. She reiterated the police force’s commitment to neutralizing any nefarious activities orchestrated by anti-national elements.
